I bought a hand blender the other day, (to blend soup, not my hand... gits. lol) and I'm finding that when using it the suction pulls it to the bottom of the pan really easily, was just wondering if I have a dodgy model design, or if that's how they are? Never owned one before so not sure.

Why would you want to blend your hand??? :whistling:

Tip: Dont hold the blender straight, angle it a bit and it wont pull towards the bottom of the pan, dunno if its normal (think it is) but mine does the same thing but its fine if I just tip it a bit

dont use it more than twice, otherwise you wont be able to chat to us anymore :lol:

I found when I did that I decorated my kitchen cupboard with soup... :oops:

Put it all in the soup so that the bottom of the blender is covered, but just tip it a bit. Only time it should cover the kitchen with soup is if the bottom of the blender is not completely covered.

I only tip it a tiny bit, just tip until it stops sucking towards the bottom

[FONT=Times New Roman]If there's not much in the pan or its shallow then I also tilt the pan quite a lot so the depth of the soup is greater and less likely to splash (did that make any sense?)[/FONT]
