How much do you spend each day on "lunch" at work?

Im quite lucky, our staff canteen is quite cheap. Jacket potato with cheese and beans is 74p I try not to eat out of vending machine as its all crappy food.
I also buy a bottle of Diet pepsi or water from a store during week to take to work. So max £1 a day in lunch.

Bring in lunch all the time, on the rare days that I dont maybe 2 or 3 quid max.

its a big waste of money when people have bread for sandwiches etc already at home and I see people spending £5+ per day over a month thats £100, rather have that in my back pocket

I dont really get a lunch hour but if i do a full day depending on what it is you can spend between £1.50 and £3 in the staff canteen.

As little as possible
THermos of my tea + Waitrose baguette sandwich in halfs/thirds lasts me through most of thday.
I know some who spend £5-10/day eating out then moan about their credit card interest rates.
I've explained to them im a CC tarter etc, they're not interested, they would rather pay through the nose for convenience and enumbers than be sensible, frugal preferring to belazy.
But then again I expect on average British people have followed the american culture in that regard gagging to consume than create and save.

I usually spend about 6 to 7 pound a day on lunch. Work in central london if that helps and I like my food to be hot and substantial couldn't work on a sandwich!

nothing. I make sarnies & either come home to eat them or sit at the beach, other wise if i stay at work, you get all the numpty's (no offence numptyj) in during their lunch break !

I normally lunch with clients or make my own, as numpty says it's a big rip off and I think its crazy that people pay up to a fiver for lunch. The worst offenders are the people who cry poverty all the time and the ones who are on the least wages, what's that all about!!!

there was a lady in my office a few months back who was temporary but she was a fat ass lol.
We have a trolley that goes aroundd everyday with snacks on also once in the morn and again in the afternoon and she would always get a snack from it. She would buy lunch from tesco, and have coffee from Costa in the morning, she must have been spending £10+ a day.

Then one day she was complaining about how she couldnt afford a flight to Australia, fat bint, maybe if she shut her mouth instead of filling it with crap she would be there right now lol!

Used to spend approx £3, but now live close enough to walk home so it's around half that.
