Happy Mother's Day everyone :)

I got a lie in 9.30am yipeee!! Also got a lovely handmade card from nursery and a pile of gifts. Now sitting with a coffee awaiting brunch which they are making through in the kitchen - I'm keeping well away because I know I'd be at the back of them wiping everything up lol.

Ljfx - sympathies with you and your wee one with the chicken pox. Our lot had it a few months ago - keep your chin up!

Being a much more mature mother. My son is travelling in Thailand, daughter in South America. Son 16 still in bed which is fine because he is doing tea tonight (he does not know that yet!)

Had breakfast in bed, did a bit of browsing and shopping (bought a handbag for £12.50),

Posted a couple of deals...........(makes a change for me X)

Sun is now shining, so time to get up oO and tackle a mountain of paperwork that I just cannot avoid any longer.

Have a lovely day ladies. I miss mine loads.

Becky I tried that perfume yesterday as I didnt realise that they done perfume - and its gorgeous! The bottle is lovely too.

I have had such a lovely morning. Breakfast in bed. loads of cuddles and laughs! Son gave me a lovely Boofle Bear to add to my collection. Only he buys me Boofles and that makes them special :)

Happy Mothers Day to all the Mums, Grandmums, stepmums, Mils, etc X)

I am cooking today as my son took the whole family out for a lovely meal for my birthday last Sunday, daughter 1 is busy with my 2 little grand daughters, daughter 2 is working very hard on her final dissertation at Uni to make her Mum proud by getting a 1st (no pressure ;) )

So all is good here, business as usual X) lol

Very jealous of bossyboots, however, I want a Boofle Bear. <3

wife said to me the other day, "dont get me anything for Mothers Day", so i reply "your not my mother so why would i buy you anything" did not go down well. beside it's just another day invented by the card companies.

All fairly true, which is why you just help your little ones to do things for your wife. ;)

I love home made cards, so no need to line the pockets of card companies. Really it's about showing a little care and appreciation to your Mum, Gran, wife. Well worth the investment, usually comes back to you with interest. :)

I had LO1 come into bed with me at 6:30am to tell me she loves me and "it's mother's day today isn't it" (she's only 4). Then at 9:30am LO2 realised I was awake and came and wolloped me in the eye - she was a bit overexcited I think....

Had a lovely lunch and a trip to the garden centre, where I got a lovely scented Azalea reduced from £25 to £10 :D Now I'm in charge of the littlies while hubby has a few hours off to go spinning *cough*.

Lol - I was told that ONCE when he'd already arranged to go to a cup final one Sunday (before he realised it was Mother's Day same day). He's never ever said it again I may add X)

Totally agree about the card companies raking it in though - that's why I love a handmade card by my kids no matter what age as they've taken their time over it and it means so much more (no matter what it looks like).

Loads of chocolates and cards from my boys, a long walk in the woods this morning then went to TGI Fridays for some lunch. My boys all went out for a few hours to play football this afternoon giving me some peace & quiet to eat the choccies then fall asleep cuddled up to my mutts!
Could do with every Sunday like today!
