Hard drive partition question?

Just took an old 40gb drive out of a laptop & put it into an enclosure. It had been partitioned into 2x 18.6gb drives. How do I get rid of the partition to make it one single drive using w7?
Rep for any help of course...

Many thanks. I thought I'd tried that but this time I changed them both to NTFS & it worked.
Cheers:thumbsup:
