It's only a few hundred yards from where we are staying, just wondered if it's worth paying it a visit?

The last family holiday we had was in Tenerife about 15 years ago, I wanted to go to Aqualand and was never allowed - I've never forgiven my parents lol.
I heard it was good fun but remember to wear sunscreen as our friends at the apartment block who went came back looking like lobsters or as the locals said 'typical brits'.

Hotel was called Melia Jardines del Teide in Costa Adeje

It took 2 hours to get there via coach (I reckon about 1.5 hours by car direct)

Must be a different one Chris, this one is just the other side of the main road, not far from the main supermarket.

Well close or not, i'd deffo go mate - especially if you have kids !

It's a Zoo & Sea world rolled into one :)

It's quite quiet there because a new big water park opened up in April, Siam Park.

Dont waste your money going there - I was in Tenererife Last year and that park was rubbish. Look at the reviews http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/place?hl=en&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=aqualand+tenerife&fb=1&gl=uk&hq=aqualand&hnear=Tenerife,+Spain&cid=4093757460138002088&dtab=2&pcsi=4093757460138002088,1&ei=U6Y3TLLYCsK88gbGnammBg&sa=X&oi=local_result&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CB8QqgUwAA

Go to Siam Park its absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus loads of free buses to take you there. We had one of the best days EVER there and will definitely go back to Tenerife just to go back to Siam Park

Skusey just noticed your the OP lol - didnt pay attention there! Honestly dont waste your money - get yourselves off to Siam Park and you will all have the best time ever!!!! There is lockers there for your stuff and you will all just stroll about in your swimming gear. You really will enjoy that Siam Park!

lol - you will love it! Take my advice and go on ALL the rides (maybe not the massive drop slide thing - when u see it u will know what I mean!!) but the other rides are amazing. I am such a big scardey cat but thought to hell with it am going to shut my eyes and go for it it! Wow it was fantastic and all my son kept shouting at me was "Mum you have another wedgey" haha!!!

There are lockers in the park and you can stick your cool bag in there with your other stuff - go early..........dont turn up at lunchtime as so busy. We went for it opening and spent the whole day there. There is even a man made beach and its heaven for relaxing!!

If it is the same layout and rides I have been to Aqualand in Gran Canaria. Went there last year and it was very enjoyable. I think it was expensive as it was the best on the island.
