Thinking of spending quite a bit of money with them as I'm after 2 tvs. Has anyone had any experience of them?

Hang on, a company called Cheap LCD TVs? If so, I'd take a very dubious look at the site.

They have some very good prices, better than at the three you suggested. They also say that you can collect from any one of their five depots for free, and if there are any problems then you return it the depot to be sorted.
Thanks for your help :) rep added

Ah, right.

Are you talking about http://www.cheap-lcd-tv.co.uk/ ? If so, then some good news - they look like they're okay. If you have a look at the Contact Us page you can see that they have a real-world store called Electronic World based in Birmingham, and if you google Electronic World, you get an exact replica of the Cheap LCD TVs website, only with a different logo. It's as if Cheap LCD TVs is simply the name they use to appear to Google Ads. Personally, I'd still give the store a call to be doubly safe and I'd only order with a credit card to be triply-safe, but it looks good to me.

only problem is if they dissapear within the next year or so you may have problems trying to get repairs

your call at the end of the day but if im spending a lot of money id rather go to a reputable dealer rather than a company that may or may not be here in a years time, especially in the current market

Yes, that is the one Dxx, I have called them and they answered the phone saying Electronic World. Ive repped you for your help :)

casparwhite - I know what you mean about the worry of if they will still be around or not, but then the same could be said of a lot of large high street stores at the moment too.
I might just buy the cheaper tv I'm after and then get the more expensive one from elsewhere.
Ive left you rep too.

Thanks for all your help guys!

Ey, no problem. Good catch with the Companies House website, I'd never have thought of that. Hope you enjoy the TV
