Has anyone used CeX online to part exchange before?

i was looking around to see what was the best deal i could get on some old games and found that CeX offered a fair amount for them part exchange but i don't live anywhere near a store so i set up an account and sent them off and i kept an eye on my status which showed that they'd recieved the items and processed them and that i should get my credit shortly, so i kept looking and waiting but couldn't find any sign of a credit and now the process has changed to completed and moved to the completed section but i stil can't see any credit, as i've never sold with them before i don't even know how you recieve credit, whether it will be a credit in your account or an e-voucher or something, but either way i can't see any credit, and the customer service i have found out is crap, so does anyone know how it all works, as i'm beginning to get a little worried?

BE CAREFUL -

I sent a phone to them on 2/5/08.

It took until the 3/7/08 and loads of calls and emails to receive the cheque which I banked straight away.

It was returned by my bank today marked " unable to pay - liquidation proceedings"

I have phoned their Ipswich store (customer services not working and this was the only number I could find) who have no idea what's going on but their manager told me that they hadn't been paid)

An area manager has called me back to say he would sort it out and it's al to do with them moving their customer services to a different office.

I will wait and see though

I hate to tell you but i'm dealing with trading standards atm regarding CEX as i should have had a voucher from them for some things i sent in March and still haven't after phone calls, emails and recorded delivery letters. Usually in the past however, you get paid a couple of days AFTER it has moved to the last stage. So there's still a chance for you yet :thumbsup:

Ooh, OT but if you managed to get a phone number for an area manager is there any chance yo ucould PM it to me, please :) I was having the same trouble where the customer services number has stopped working :x

i finally got my voucher in the post, pretty useless though as i don't live near a store and you have to send it back to them after paying for an item on your card inorder to use it, i definately will not be using this company again and i advise anyone who reads this post to avoid them, thanks to everyone for the help.
