Its absolutely brilliant, have been a few times now and it is lovely, they have a boat to cross the lake to the shops as well. Which the kids loved, almost as much as visiting the monkeys!
Happy Birthday for tomorrow by the way. :)

Thanks Emma-lee and snowtiger. Hope you have a lovely birthday too Emma.

The monkey forest looks great, I love monkeys, could watch them all days, that's why I married my husband lol!

I dont know anyone that's been to the monkey forest though so just wanted to see what other people thought of it.

Thanks guys. I think I'll give it a go! Will let everyone know if I do.

Is it an all day place or just a couple of hours?

Depends really you can walk around the forest, stop for lunch then hit the shopping area, which is what we usually do or you could go back round the monkey bit again, we usually spend best part of the day there.

yup....

its pretty cool...worth a go....especially if they have babies (not sure if its right time of year?!)...funny when they just run right out in front of you

I work just down the road from there...ooh if you drive on the dual carriageway between the monkey forest and Trentham gardens look out for cones on the central reservation and a big dent in the barrier...thats where I killed my car :(

thats a claim to fame...'I saw the spot where ODB almost died!'....

EDIT: I wouldnt wear any shoes that your worried about getting dirty...weather a bit ropey here at mo and will prob be damp....theres a path but still carries a bit of dirt
