Has Onestopphoneshop changed at all recently? also question about switching numbers

Hi,

I've had a contract with OSPS for almost the last year without any real problems. I'm looking to take out another one but have noticed their website has changed and am fairly weary about these cashback sites. Are they still the same company and run by the same people etc?
It seems a lot of people on the forums buy phone deals with them but few leave feedback in the OSPS post, which is a shame.

With regards to changing my number and switching contract, do I need to have both contracts running at the time that I switch? Or if I get the PAC code before the contract ends, is it still possible to change my number to the new contract after the old contract has finished? (obviously within the 30 days that PAC codes last) I hope that makes sense.

thanks

OSPS is still owned by Carphone Warehouse. But their cashback T&C's are tougher now, esp on price-match deals.

If you get a PAC code and use it within 30 days, the contract is terminated.

I got the impression that they had been made easier, the time frame is smaller than before but you don't need to send in vouchers which helps. Unless there have been other changes?

Why would the contract be terminated? I thought you had to use the PAC code within 30 days? If I want to move my number do I have to wait for the contract to end? I didn't think that was possible as I thought the number would be finished after the end of the contract.
