I've potentially got nearly a grands worth of gold,9,22 & 24 carat,so i'd rather i was asked whether the price they offered was ok or not.

I wondered if anyone had any personal experience with them,i could always email them and ask,but my understanding is you send it off and they pay you,the end:w00t:

surely they pay you what they advertise on the site, so if you know how much your sending then you know how much they gonna pay you, i am always dubious about these sites buying your gold

I've used them and they are top notch, I doubt you would get a better price elsewhere.

Me being a cynic,i was worried that say i had 50g of 9ct gold and they said some wasn't real for example and only paid me for 30g,if they don't ask you anything and just pay you i couldn't dispute it.

The price paid is based on the morning gold fix on the day of receipt

ermmm so you really dont know what you would be getting

I'm sure I read on their website anything that isn't gold they will send back at your expence. I think you may be able to tick a box on the form. long time since I last used them.
Hope this helps.

i have a few solid gold bangles that i would love to sell to get my daughter a nice piece of jewellery, but always worried i will get ripped off, or they will say they are fake, and make some exactly the same cheap metal and return the made ones and keep mine, very trustworthy aint i
#12
I think i will email them to confirm whether they contact you to agree on a price, there's a huge thread on MSE but that's not clear either.

Be careful of how much they charge to return your gold if you decide you dont like their offer.

check their rate against local dealers - it may be the same and safer to use .
#14
Used them before and they are very good. I left contact number and they called me to confirm the items received. They gave me a different (lower) price and he said its up to me to take it or he can send the items back....... will not force you to take the new price quote.
#15
Thanks peeps,i emailed them, not had a reply though yet.
#16
Had a reply,i was told to attach a note when i send my gold to them and they will ring me with a price.

Sent SD today,so i will see what happens tomorrow!

I sent my pimp bracelet off to these guys & got £200 more than anywhere else on the market.

They ring you with price, if your happy, your money is in your bank the very next day. I'm sure they had a calc on their website with todays gold prices on, but they weigh the gold on their accurate scales & go off the days prices, so it could vary (slightly).

Excellent company to deal with.
#18
Yeah they do an online calculator.

I know it will be tomorrows gold prices i get quoted at but todays is totalling 1045 quid and a few pence.

Although i have oddments such as earrings and tiny chains that i'm not sure as to whether they are gold or not.

I await to see what tomorrow holds:-D

967 quid going into my bank account, woo hoo,i'm very happy and can highly recommend them:)

If you look at the end of the form you can have non gold and I'm guessing stones from pieces returned for £6.50

Went on the Website yesterday for the first time, read good reports on MSE website so sent a gold ring away. Weighed it myself at 12 grams worked out to £234.00 based on yesterdays price. Got confirmation by email today 11.9 grams so down a couple of £'s but still got £229. Better than the £177 quoted on a few other sites. Would recommend them to anyone looking for the best price without the HYPE!!!!
