Quite an underrated fun game that helps keeps you fit without being ridiculously tiring and injury inducing . Surprised it
isn't more popular over here these days and wonder why that is?. So come on get your bats out and get down to your local sports centre or even your local school sports hall maybe (evenings) where you can usually find they will loan you basic bats and a ball or 2, It's quite inexpensive as well which will appeal to peeps on this site. There might even be a small club of fellow enthusiast near you that play once or twice in the week, usually if you dig about you'll prob find there's a few leagues about in your area if you're the competitive type and wish to advance your game.
Looking to buy a half decent bat, know you can prob get away with spending 15 - 20 quid for a fairly decent novice bat but if you know of a good bat that's worth spending a little more or another tenner on pls let us know.
Just thought i'd better mention it. Try to buy one that is ittf approved if you can (will state it on the rubbers) otherwise
you will find leagues will reject it as it doesn't comply with the regs...
