Hi,

I have a Nokia N95 that has a scuff on the back and the battery cover is a bit loose due to one of the hooks being broken.

I was wondering if anyone has sent in a phone in that had some scuffs etc if they had any issues.

Thanks

Sites That Will BUY Your Phone

Check the price that you can get for your phone on each of the following sites in order to try and get the best deal. Some sites want just the charger, but some pay more if you have the accessories or manual and some sites charge varying amounts depending on the condition of your mobile phone.
Important: Some of these websites are listed on cashback sites such as QuidCo! Do a search before registering!

Banana Green - an easy to use site who will buy your phone.

cex - a site which buys and sells all sorts of goods. That includes phones!

envirofone - this site pays cash for your phone, although they’ll pay you a little bit more if you will accept an Argos giftcard as payment. They pay slightly less for damaged phones.

mazuma - this site is a good one for a high payout, especially on high-end phones. They also have a rate for damaged phones.

Mobile2Cash - this site offers upto £150 for your old phone. They also buy phones that don’t work at a lower rate.

MobilePhoneBuyer - another site which offers a generous amount of cash and will buy broken phones at a lower rate too.

Mobile Phone Xchange - this site also boasts upto £150 for your phone. They pay between 30% and 90% of the value for broken phones, but don’t give you the exact figure.

Mopay - this site pays cash for your phone, although they’ll pay you a little bit more if you will accept an M&S giftcard as payment. They even buy phones that are no longer working, albeit at a lower rate.
I just received my envelope to send my n95 to Mazuma mobile, Bananagreen pay £1 more though - just checked, but no Quidco. So assuming Quidco goes through you're 50p better off with Mazuma.

All the other sites listed above are paying a lot less than Mazuma, I think £115 ispretty good!

I appreciate the responses but still awaiting for someone who has sent an item too them that scuff marks on them from a phone that has been dropped, but still works perfectly ?

It's just that I don't want to send it to them, then pay to get it sent back !

Ok I have sent phones that were less than perfect to Mazuma - not like cracked cases but general wear and tear. Also sent at least one phone with a mic fault and another with a camera fault and they accepted them no problem.

Thanks for that. The case's are not cracked but scuffed from a low level impact.

As soon as I get my phone back i'll send it and update the post for future reference.

I've used them :)
Used quidco to open the account, £1.50 and "sold" my viewty on the 8/3
All tracked fine.
Received their envelope and paperwork on the 10/3.
Posted the phone off 14/3 (by recorded - extra 72p but worth it)
Got 2 emails on the 16/3, one for phone received, 2nd for phone works fine and cheque despatched.
Cheque arrived on the 17th.
Very impressed

Who's a lucky football team fan then! I bet you were cussing them "throwing it away" with 5 minutes left! Blame the commentator. "City are cruising this game and safely through".... Oh its now 2-1! They do it all the time. Fingers crossed. (but don't finish above us in the league!):)
