Havent received item on ebay, seller cashed cheque

Basically bought a shirt off ebay exactly a month ago, and i havent received it.
Her feedback before i bought the shirt was good, but around the time that i bought the shirt and after, there has been lots of negative feedback, seller promised to deliver, hasnt arrived.
I have filed a dispute with ebay, and have to wait another 3 days until it goes in ebays hands(trust and safety team).
Is there anything i can do via my bank? even though she has cashed the cheque.

I don't know TBH. How much did you pay? I've got a feeling that even if the bank can do anything, they'll charge for doing so, so might not be worth your while.

I don't think there will be anything you can do regarding a cashed cheque ... you could always phone your bank to check as maybe there is something in your particular account to protect you ? but I doubt it .. If you haven't received the item you should get your money back through Ebay. Has the seller got proof of posting ?

I wouldnt know, her communication is total bull to be blatently honest.
Once every 5 emails she replies, so i wouldnt know.
Do you get your money back via ebay then?

Well I was a plonker and ordered a phone from Bulgaria. Filed a Paypal claim a day after I paid though when his account was suspended so am hoping they can stop him withdrawing in time :S

Lost faith in eBay to be honest!

you can get cotact details on ebay go to advanced search at the top near search and then on the left says find contact info. add the item number and id and it should come up?

This is one of the reasons I never buy from eBay without using PayPal. Hopefully eBay will sort this out for you when you file a complaint, but I reckon you will have to put it down as a lesson to learn from.

make sure you email through ebay-not just from your email account. Email and tell them you would like your money back or will be in the area next week to collect-lol

Yes as far as I know you will eventually get your money refunded through Ebays buyer protection policy ? as long as you can prove you have sent the payment & in your case the cheque has been cashed ...............although as far as I am aware this is a long, awkward drawn out process !
(This may of changed as they seem to change the rules as they go along to suit themselves...!! )

So the auction was void because she lied? You shouldn't have carried on if you wanted to pay by paypal.

Lesson learned indeed.

Take them to court. http://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/

This happened to me, i payed by paypal, waited 3 weeks and nothing, emailed them and they wouldnt answer plus they had a good write up at the time, had to get ebay and paypal to dispute it in the end and he wouldnt even answer there emails, it took me 2 minutes to pay and him 2 months to pay back. And then to top it all off he left me bad feedback saying he sent the goods and that i demanded a full refund, what a cheek, I had a 100% mark until he said that now its 90%, i complained to ebay but they said there is nothing they could do as all feedback it feedback, now breaaaaaaaaaaaaaathe lol
