Having a Chinese food night on Thursday

I want to make some spring rolls and prawn toast.

Does anyone have an easyish recipe for them?

I seen that to make spring rolls you can buy the wrappers, I dont suppose anyone would know where to get them in Glasgow?

Also wanting to make Panacotta, I've found a recipe but it says to use heavy whipping cream? Is that just normal whipping cream?

Any help will be appreciated and repped.

Thanks

prawn toast is prawns bread and sesame seads squashed and fried lol
#2
If you can't find "heavy" whipping cream you're fine to use generic whipping cream babe.

"heavy" just refers to the fact that it has a higher buttermilk content than other whipping cream but most places dont specify between light and heavy versions xx

My misses always buys the spring roll wrappers from an Asian supermarket called Wing Yip, not sure if you've got one your way. In the Freezer section, don't get the really small ones as they're too fiddly.

Quite simple to make the filling: beansprouts, carrot, glass noodles, are the base but you can add prawns/chicken or whatever. Then add some soy/oyster sauce etc to the mixture and fry it all before rolling in the pastry.

You can actually oven bake them if you want to be healthy, but they taste better fried! :)

Trying to get ideas now so that I can make my shopping list in advance and not forget anything, my head is like an absolute sieve these days and can barely remember what I go into Asda for, yet come out with loads of bags.
