Having Trouble Backing Up My Seinfeld Collection?

How on earth do I do this I have tryed using dvdfab6 to rip then to burn then near the end it has failed to put onto a dvd twice. I have clicked the right boxes to rip it to a dvd size and then put onto a dvd writes fine but at the end just says failed with about a minute to go.

Am I doing something wrong?

I am going to do method 2 now use dvd decrypter than use dvd shrink to shrink to shrink the file to fit onto a dvd.

After this should I use then dvd decrypter to burn?

Please help dont really wanna make any more coasters.

dvdshrink, then burn with nero or whatever you have. Or a trail of anydvd. If anydvd, you can just copy them in nero,it makes the drive/program think it's not copy protected.
#2
how would I burn it trough nero then?
#3
Also do you know why I am getting that error? Is it because I have not broke the protection?
#4
May well be, dvdshrink can be a pain sometimes. If you have nero recode, load the one you did with shrink, that normaly works

I have nero burning rom is that any good?
#6
No, not for doing this. You would need the full package.
#7
should i be using dvd-r or dvd+r and whats the difference?
#8
Think I just did by using dvd decryptor than dvd shrink. Will see how it goes on my other discs.
#9
Not much difference, just depends on what your drive likes. Just try burning with decyptor, if not, look at settings on shrink, might not be set for the region settings etc

got this wokring I think will do another test and see

I have just done it and tested in on my laptop and on my bluray player both work.

use dvd decryptor to rip it to hard drive then dvd shrink to shrink it and burn it.

Must be my media as it wont work again.

it´s not working because you plan to sell them at the car boot sale. Damn annoying agreed.

Gonna put them onto my external hard drive instead. Unless anyone got any ideas?

Rep added!

Thanks a lot for that advice. I have a Nokia N800 that I use purely for the odd bit of web browsing and watching videos on the go.

Once I have made the backups I will use them to convert the episodes I want to MP4

The Sienfield discs are by Sony and are protected by a newer form of ArCCos protection, using the very latest AnyDVD or DVDFab (make sure pathplayer is enabled) should work.

Here guys.

I am finding ripping the full disc using dvdfab is the best way then use dvd shrink to shrink it to dvd size. Then use dvd fab to burn the new file.
