Hi Guys,

Looking for your help and advice! Hubby and I are off on holiday for 3 weeks with our little one in February to Thailand (Yeah, been saving for ages). We are looking to get a HD camcorder to record the memories and wanted to know what you guys thought of either the Toshiba Camileo, the Flip or Sanyo Xacti.

The only problem we have with the Flip is that you can’t use an SD card; however the Toshiba gets very mixed reviews.

We are looking pay around £100 - £150.00, it needs to be quite small to encourage us to use it hence the two suggestions; however we are open to other alternatives.

Please help - Sara x

we have the flip-you cant go wrong tbh-the lack of an sd card support really isnt an issue-it takes 2 hours of video on the internal hardrive before you need to transfer it to the pc-2 hours is a LOT! and you just flip the usb, connect and it will automatically burn the dvd for you,or upload to youtube with one click of the mouse.

I like it; however Im not sure how ofter we would get to use a PC whie travelling around thailand? At last with an SD card camera we could just stock up on spare cards before we go.
