I have a HDTV I bought about a month ago and was wondering how do i find out [without adding a hd source ie ps3 what my tv outputs at? eg. 720p 1080p.

Will this give me a decent picture on my ps3 when i get it?
like will i tell the difference between

SDTV and HDTV.

you will get a very clear pic through the hdmi connection for your ps3 games and bluray.most games are released at 720p anyway.obviously you wont get quite as clearer as picture compared to 1080i/1080p when playing films on bluray but as its a small screen tv the difference is negligible anyway.you must use the hdmi connection though

720p and 1080i isnt that much of a diff from one another, but from 720p/1080i to 1080p IS, if you have a good enough HD tv that is
