HDUK is bad for your wealth!

OK call me a compulsive deal seeker but I just can't resist buying stuff if it's a bargain.

Since joining HDUK earlier on in the year I'm spending loads on stuff that I don't really need but just have to have. I now have a spare phone, a spare PC, about 10 extra DVDs to add to my box containing "DVDs that I want to watch, but realistically don't have time to watch; but they were a real bargain!"

It's almost like an addiction and having a job where I work from home at lot doesn't help. But most of all it's fun! :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

your lucky to be a relatively new member or you would also have bought the ASOS £6 Jacket with all the flags on it. Anyone else make this mistake ?

Key is always buy a bargain - and then when you find you don't need it ... turn around and eBay it for some profit :D

p.s. I'm not advocating the eBay buy it all and sell angle - just saying personally make sure you buy for less than you can sell on eBay for!

I could not agree with you more.
I'm in exactly the same situaution here.

To think that there will be some folk on here with an addictive personality, it is worrying.
Hey wait a minute, that must be me:roll: :-D

Good philosophy really!!

If you say to yourself "yeah, I can get something extra if I sold that on to someone" then go for it. You may never sell it, but at least you have that security.

It's an amazing feeling when you've bought something and you are still able to make a profit when you sell it to somebody for an amount considerably less than they could have got it for!! You're both... just... happy.

It's true, I've only bought a couple of lower value things so far, but if I see any good PS3 deals (that first one for less that £300...) or on a Canon DSLR (only found this place after a mate told me about the Tesco £250 350D bargain) I just KNOW my credit card is going to get a beating.

It's all good though and keep the deals coming

This thread should be resurrected to see if the symptoms have worsened for those affected or if have they been cured.
