Ever sit next to someone on the train who shouts loudly down their mobile phone while you try to get to sleep.

Revenge is http://dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.4355 here !!!!

I can just imagine how much fun this would bring when the table is turned!!!!

Too right, I'm commuting to uni this year from Dunfermline to Dundee, so a lot of bus journeys with annoying people and their mobiles for my PSP to contend with. Yeah I doubt customs would let it through, we've only just recently been allowed to use iTrips so something that sends out a signal to block other signals is probably quite low on the agenda. But I suppose some things do slip past :whistling:

Even better than that is they sell stun guns. Although it says they can't ship here, if you buy it and e-mail them the payment details and your address then they send you one out. :whistling:

Yeh I think it would also. I know the stuff Ive had shipped from this companyhas never been opened - and they always downprice it and say its a torch or something it isnt.

I think this may be illegal as if it was a real emergency and the signal was blocked ......

Yeh, I realise that (and said as much in post 3) - just had to chuckle when I saw a vision with a cheshire cat grin on my face of seeing someone next to me on the train going "hello, hello - you still there!!!"

Unfortunatly, i was looking these up (seemed like a really good idea), and they are very illegal in the UK (it violates "sections 1 & 13 of the 1949 telegraphy act").

Dammit - we never get anything fun ;-)

Note:

It does not block PCN, it does US GSM (900mhz) EU/Asia GSM (800mhz which includes O2 and Vodafone UK) but not PCN (1800mhz) which is what Orange and T-Mobile (and virtual networks on these networks like Virgin Mobile and 2G "3")

Also it says it does 3G blocking too but I see no mention of 2100mhz

I'd love a device that did all 2.4ghz devices, 400mhz tetra, 800-900mhz gsm, 1800mhz pcn and 2100mhz 3G :)
