The girls parents are not happy-so is this man a nutter living in the fifties or is he speaking for the majority?

Personally think he may have some issues himself. The "innapropriate behaviour" is his methinks

What age is this? at primary school boys hated girls. Though I think puberty is happening earlier due to all the chemicals they are exposed to in the womb, so maybe some truth to it.

TBH I am shocked by how short most of the girls in secondry school wear their skirts.

When I was in secondry school we had to have them no more than 2 inches above our knee's - as soon as we left school to walk home we wood roll up the waist band to make it shorter. But the skirts now barely cover their pants!

I don't really think it is appropriate for girls at such a young age - some of them I've seen at about 1st years - to be wearing really short skirts and sporting the Britney Spears 'schoolgirl hooker' look at all.

Its been like this for years, but if you come out and say it you get labelled a paedo.

If he stops 16/17 yr olds wearing short skirts, just wait for the outcry though lol

My old school had to do notices telling them to stop rolling the waist bands to shorten them, and one teacher used to say lengthen it you're making me blush. And I've worked in a school and some of the girls look like complete whores so I agree 100% with him.

yes,but was this the right way to tackle it? why not just rigidly enforce a dress code? thats my point-should a male headmaster call an all girl assembly and tell them they are causing boys to have innapropriate thoughts? I agree with you and with moob about the way some girls dress at school, but dont agree this was the way to do it-surely the man realised the girls would be uncomortable with it and relay this to their parents.

Perhaps he's just not very good at conveying the message, and thought this was the best way to go about it. I don't feel that anyone should be labelled for addressing an increasing issue of this nature - people throw about labels way too much these days.

It's 'inappropriate', fella.

I think he should have told them to have respect for themselves. Saying that to some type of girls, will have the opposite effect. He did it in a bit of a 'weirdo' way.
I was stunned the other day to see wot some girls were wearing at the school.
Dress code is the way to go. Didnt have to say owt really did he? Just enforce one.
