"Prices are quoted on the basis that you are selling in one of each
item; if you wish to sell multiple copies your order may be classed
as a bulk buy, and as such a reduced price may be applied."

That's a little concerning. Guess that means they can offer the zavvi price if they cotton on, which they probably will. I don't know if you even have to choice to reject a lower price.

What have been peoples' previous experience with doing this?

By the time you get the game from Zavvi you'll probably end up with a loss. lol

Never ever order things online with the aim of making a cash profit at CEX. CEX change their prices whenever they want. As soon as they get a whiff of a retailer selling for less than their cash buy in price they drop theirs. Even what is shown on their website may not be the price the stores will offer if they've updated on the day you take your stuff there (the tills are realtime, but the site is on a time lag). I buy and trade in when I see a stonking bargain, but only if I find it in store and there is a CEX within easy distance that day. Even then it is a risk that the website (that I check on my phone is wrong). I can see this item being dropped to about the same price as you can order it for any day now. Don't say you weren't warned.

you could print out the cex trade in price and go to gamestation and they will price match it. last time i did that the guy just looked at the printout and matched the price. didnt even check the cex website.

Only if you have a high street with both on it. Otherwise you will get the answer 'we only price match against local retailers'.

if you do it online they say they will honour the price for 5 working days.
