I am vegetarian, so couldnt offer advice on meat dishes - but I do cook a lot and could write up some receipes if you wanted?

PM me and I'll give you some of the stuff I make, you can tell me what you want receipes for

Delia online has recipes for everything. http://www.deliaonline.com/

If you cook from scratch then things are generally healthier straight away.

My favourite recipe when I'm in a rush is onion and pea risotto: -

1) Peel and roughly chop a medium to large onion and fry in a little olive oil until soft.
2)Add your risotto rice (I think Arborio is the best and readily available) and stir into the onions for 2 minutes.
3)Pour in 0.5 litre of boiling water for 2 people, 1 litre if cooking for four.
4) Add 3 vegatable stock cubes and a little salt and pepper.
5) Stir continuously until the rice has absorbed the water.
6) 5 minutes before the end add 0.75 of a cup of frozen peas.

It tastes really good on its own but you can also put on some sausages just before you cook the Risotto. It also tastes good with chicken. Just cook a couple of chicken breasts and squeeze lemon juice over at the end.

Simple!
