Heather Mills

Having read through Heather' list of demands ... I am furious at her outrageous list of financial demands.. how can 4 years of marriage give her 24 million pounds.. and her poor daughter only getting £35,000 a year - maybe if she took a little step into the real world and realised that many peopledont even earn £35,000 she might realise that she is about to alienate half the population...

well I guess she can kiss goodbye to meeting a normal guy after this! or maybe she'll meet someone who is as money grabbing as hers and the divorce settlement will be 25 million!! :-D
#4
Never liked Heather. She should be happy, not furious. Sheesh, if it was for her daughter, 24 million could be dangerous, as now the daughter could be a target for criminals. Making a media out of it doesn't help.

Just look at this and make up your own mind about her demands http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2008/03/18/nmacca1318.xml £30,000 a year for flowers she should have gone to tesco for cheap tulips and daffs that was posted on here

Sir Paul McCartny was doing an interview yesterday and was asked "so, would you ever go down on one knee again Sir Paul?" to which he replied "I would rather you called her Heather!".

Great article. Can't believe the woman's demands. And now that she's only going to get in the region of £600,000 a year, I'm sure we'll see her here on HUKD!!! :w00t:
#15
yeah and its for her "daughter" apparently
£125k for clothes
£35k for daughter
What do you think she likes the most, clothes or daughter?
Ok maybe money isnt the way to measure it, but comon, i personally would rather do 125k for daughter, and 35k for clothes
#16
I cant honestly believe that some Beetles nut has not 'taken care' of her for Sir Paul before this came to court.

Oh God, I hope not, on second thoughts, that would be quite entertaining!
[helper]#22
The woman has some serious "issues". She seems to have little control of her emotions, doesn't listen to her own advisors and as a result has become a laughing stock. I do hope (for the daughters sake) that a friend convinces her to go for counselling.......
#23
I feel sorry for sir paul but he really should have been wise enough to have a pre-nup, saying that, i do not think heather mills should have got £26 million just for being married for 4 years.
Where is the sense in that?
It's not surprising that men don't want to marry nowadays!

Unfortunately most of us don't have £800 million.....

Aaah poor Heather, all that money and still only able to travel B class.

I hate the way she goes on national television asking foir sympathy and explaining how she has a terrible life, then it turns out she wants to spend 35K a year on FLOWERS, 150K on CLOTHES?

Get a grip love.
#27
Give her a break, we probably don't know half the story. Paul has got millions and can afford the best lawyers of the land... of course he was going to come out of this smelling of roses. sadly she let her emotions spoil her judgement and has asked for more than she really needs prob just to spite him and hit him where it hurts.
Mind you she is going to need alot of security for herself to protect her and her kid from the constant threat of the paps, risk of some macca fanatic attacking her or the risk of her kid getting snatched for money, lets face it her other half could give three quarters of his money away and still live comfortably.
She is very emotional and some find that endearing - macca obviously didn't. They got together through shared interests but obviously that wasn't enough. Macca ain't perfect so stop acting like he's the victim. It's give and take on both sides!

When the divorce is final will she retain the 'lady' title?

i don't think pre-nups will stand up in court in the uk yet.
people write them but they are generally dismissed, its still a very american idea.
#30
Prenup's may not be legal I agree, because signing disclaimers that negate UK law is not legal in the UK and a pre-nup is effectivley disclaiming UK divorce law.

she can keep the title, i believe she can still choose to use it if she marries someone with a lower title.

Oh right, that hardly seems fair, especially when you consider how Diana had her title removed after many more years of marriage etc.

To be perfectly clear Paul has a much better committal track record than Heather Mills will ever have so lets not kid ourselves. Heather Mills was out to get as much as possible and has proved that with another divorce to notch up.
#36
Like I said they obviously weren't a match made in heaven and this divorce has brought up alot of emotion and bitterness between them, hence heather trying to hit him where it hurts - his pocket, and let's face it if I was married to him (and yes I would have to loose all my senses to enable me to do that) and things got very bitter I'd probably do the same!
He may well of been with Linda for many years but it didn't take him long to find someone else did it? He wasn't wasting any time!
He isn't a saint, and I'm sure Lennon thought so as they weren't on friendly terms for a great number of years....
Any way as he said himself 'live n let die'!

Give her a break.

You have no idea how enormous her expenditure is. Besides, why shouldn't she have the latest designer gear?

Personally I don't support this whole "be married a couple of years then clear the bank account" thing you hear in some of these big divorce cases. It sometimes seems like the point of the whole thing was to get a payoff at the end.

What I do have concerns about is the vilification she has gotten from the British press. All she did was marry and divorce a famous person. Granted she seemed to be asking for a lot, but then again they do have a kid. If it was just her I would have said maybe four million (mil per year) but with the added needs of the child (security, ect) twenty five seems about right (for someone worth £400 million).

The worst thing she did was not hire a good PR. Also it was predicted weeks ago in the press that the Judge in the case would make public what went on so he could secure himself lucrative speaking engagements.

there was guy on tv that said "I think it's right for her to get 50% of everything sir Paul has..... just as soon as she can prove she wrote 50% of all the beatles songs"
