Beijing Airport
Beijing, China, 2003-2008

Beijing's new international airport terminal will be the gateway to the city as it welcomes athletes from around the world to the twenty-ninth Olympiad in 2008.

The worlds largest and most advanced airport building - not only technologically, but also in terms of passenger experience, operational efficiency and sustainability Beijing Airport is welcoming and uplifting. A symbol of place, its soaring aerodynamic roof and dragon-like form celebrates the thrill of flight and evokes traditional Chinese colours and symbols.

Go to Munich Airport

Good shopping, nice coffee shops and even a beer garden :-)

They even have their own brewery (Airbrau) and been is €2,30 / pint (less than £2 - not bad for airport prices

The food is good value as well

About Munich airport - check here for some pics

Also to quote from above site

You can also take a stroll outside to see the Munich Airport Center (MAC), the amazing structure linking the two terminals. The MAC is the venue for many exciting events all year round, ranging from a beach volleyball tournament - played on 750 tons of sand especially trucked in for the occasion - and open-air movie nights in August and September to a Christmas market in December and early January with gingerbread, mulled wine, traditional handicrafts and an outdoor ice skating rink! The MAC is also the home of Airbräu - the world's first brewery in an airport. Enjoy authentic Bavarian cooking and German beer brewed right on the premises. In the summer months you can quench your thirst the Bavarian way in the Airbräu beer garden, shaded by real chestnut trees.
