Heatwave could last a month: Britain is set for the best July heat wave since July 2006, forecasters have predicted, with at least two weeks of temperatures topping 30C (86F) in the south.

Looks like sunny Cornwall and our Riviera will be basking in sunshine by the weekend!

BBQ weather here we come - I will try and fit one in at the weekend if not two lol

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/topics/weather/10157355/Heatwave-could-last-a-month.html?placement=mid3

The Met Office said the mercury will start rising from Thursday, reaching into the top twenties by the weekend and up to 30C by next week.

The good weather is forecast to last two weeks, as an area of high pressure moving up from the Azores settles over the UK, with a good chance it will carry on even longer.

Wahay!

I took my driving test during Ramadan out in the Middle East lol

It was 4 am in the morning, they packed 4 of us into the test car along with the guy from the Test centre.

Pitch black, we started off with a hill start (artificial hill, steep). In reverse lol.

Followed by 3 point turn in reverse plus parallel parking on an obstacle course, all very tight.

Followed by 5 mins on the real road.

One after the other, it was a hoot.

Needless to say, I passed.

Yesterday it rained all day and seemed to go dark at 8PM. Today it's been grey and miserable all day

......I'll believe this heatwave when I see it

Surely a hill start in reverse would be relatively straight forward as you'd be facing down the hill!?

You have to start up, engage gear then go backwards up the hill for some reason.
