"Crispin Odey, whose main hedge fund has lost about 43 percent this year,"

" hasn’t made money at his main Odey European Inc. fund since 2014, when it gained 5.5 percent. He was down almost 13 percent last year."

OP not sure why you are listening to this person as they clearly don't have a clue.

hedge funds go bust every year.

why is this moron any different? he chose the wrong stocks, didn't sell when they started to slump and he hoped for the best, his gamble didn't pay off.

Do you only trust people with a 100% record? The guy is renowned for seeing what was coming in 08. He may be wrong, he may be right but to dismiss him as you have done seems....agenda-driven.

I see his reasoning . Inflation set to be 4% + next year , growth -very little if any . If you get a wage rise ,lucky you . Its called Stagflation ! Not good for importers, exporters , bankers ,teachers (in fact not good for anyone :( )

Cant think why this should happen 6 months after growth and the economy were booming ? Errrr.... or maybe I do - Good old democracy at its xenophobic best - just saying :(

So do I , they are pleased at the moment but also realise their "apparent hike in salary" will soon be eaten away by inflation . ie they are intelligent folk . What about us folk who get paid in pounds and will see our disposable income cut in the next year ? To be fair its not a surprise to me oO

The same stocks that whilst within the EU are still at the same level as 20 years ago?

A stagnant market that has decimated the value of every pension in the land?

A stagnant market that has still managed to pay record bonuses to the entire banking industry?

The success story of the EU.

You'll either spend less or save less. It's better for the economy if you actually saved less and continued spending so that the economy keeps trundling along, but that's going to have a massive impact when you retire.

Basically Brexit has been good for people who already had large amounts of money invested in the ftse 100, foreign investors and people who can be paid in dollars. Apart from that....

Keep repeating that when food prices go up but your wages don't.

Yeah well its your opinion, which is basically what democracy does best gives everyone a fair say.
BTW how do you directly relate xenophobia with the way half the voters voted and who's to say whether all of the groups you mentioned didn't vote for Brexit because they wanted less or at least stable immigration rather than none, or voted for Brexit because they thought the EU was an expensive bureacracy, or because they didnt want Juncker ruling over the UK, or because Europe is failing at controlling its borders - verifying those who are travelling are not terrorists/criminals/economic migrants and perhaps because the EU has weakened the collective resistance to terrorism (or is that all xenophobia to you?).
