Look for a sim only deal, they are cheaper as you dont get a phone and you can normally cancel with 30 days notice, so theres no long term contract :)

Vodafone
Unlimited Txts + 300 Free Mins
£15 / Month

O2 Simplicity
Unlimited Txts + 600 Free Mins
£19.58 / Month

Orange - Dolphin
Unlimited Txts + 200 Mins
£14.68 / Month

lol, but the whole point of the original thread was the OP wanted Unlimited Texts, lol :)

In my opinion, I think the important factors for choosing between them would be the following:-

1, Who do you call most often? Are they on Vodafone... Stick with the network most your friends are on, if that is Vodafone then stay with them as most networks will charge more for calling cross network, you could have lots of free mins but once they are used up, its going to be expensive...

2, If you like your current network stick with them, however im not sure how easy it is to keep ur existing PAYG number with Voda and have it transferred to a Sim Only Contract, most networks will do this, however probably not online... So its best to call them first, thats if you do want to stick with Vodafone, if you dont then call Vodafone, get your Porting Code and give that to your new network, to transfer your number to them...
^ This all only if you want to keep your existing number...

3, Reception, sometimes within regions there is a trend to go with one network over others, e.g in one of our shops pretty much everyone who came in was with Orange, in the other shop everyone is either with O2 or Vodafone, this is because Orange and T-Mobile reception isnt the best in that area...

I think 1, above is probably the most important as you dont want to end up costing yourself more in the long run, e.g with the T-Mobile deal above you get more mins than the others for £15 however if you go over those minutes and say for example cross network calls were £0.35 / Minute, then you called a mate on Vodafone for 60 minutes, this would cost you £21 :)
