My husband lost his blackberry....

I have tried to call O2 to track the last calls made on it (as it is still on), but they cant help as I dont know his password and he doesnt know it either....

It might be lying somewhere, can he not retrace his steps and keep ringing the number every so often, he might hear it.

Is it in his car, mine always drops down the drivers side door and I always find it in the morning with a few dozen missed calls lol

If it was stolen its not very likely that the theif will be using the original sim card to make calls, even if it was on contract and they could make free calls till it gets blocked, its not likely anyone would be that silly to make calls to important people that are so easily traceable...

If it was lost its probably been handed in to the Golf course, or in to the Police, try calling the Golf course first...

Either way its best to get the phone blocked as soon as possible, obviously O2 will not talk to you, your husband can call O2 himself and report it, even without the password they will ask him a few security questions, name, address, dob, etc verify his identity and then block the phone so that it cant be used...

Cheers, unfortunatley he is still at the golf course - two hours away from home, so he cant call them...

lol, late night golfing in the dark, lol

In that case best to just get him to check with the Golf course if anyone has handed it in... Then when he gets back call O2, they arent usually too bad so if he tells them what time it was lost at then at least if any calls were made after that time they wont charge you for those, however even if calls were made after that time which were not by him and by the person who has the phone, they normally dont do much about it anyway... However when you do report it, the handset will get blocked so it cant be used on O2 or the other UK networks.

When I say handed it in, I dont mean straight away... Probably tommorow, etc if someone does find it whilst golfing they will probably pass it on :)

Got some good news!!!!

The staff from golf course found the phone and handed it back in! It was on the course for more than 24 hours and it still works!!! :w00t:

Happy End!

Thanks to all. x
