Can anyone tell me if u reserve to collect something from argos and are collecting the next day and the price has increased which price do u pay? the price reserved at or the price instore on the day??? Can't seem to find anythin on the website (maybe i've just missed it!)

I reserved something 2-3 hours ago (too late for me to collect today obviously) and went to check details of it 20 mins ago to find its now gone up by £40 I don't want to venture all the way to town tomorrow for it if its the higher price cos it will no longer be in my price range... anyone help me?

Thanks in advance

Taken from their Terms & Conditions
4.3 The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order apart from the following two exceptions:a) For products reserved online for store pick up or any other reservation service the price you pay is the price in store on the day of collection.
But I have saw posts on here where they have managed to get the product at the price when reserved.Good luck:)

If the Store representatives are willing to help & the Manager isn't too busy to override the price at the till, then you should be OK. It is recommended to take a hard-copy print of the reservation confirmation page from your web browser as 'evidence' of the price you wish to pay. It has helped me on a number of visits in the past.

Here is the latest example:

My Daughter was asked for £42.95 for an item that she had reserved at £26.95 the previous day.

She asked them to check their own website, it was still showing at £26.95.

So be very careful, they seem to charge whatever they like.
