HELP: Budding Graphic Designers / Those good with Photoshop

Anyone who could help I would be appreciative, like really!
It's all to do with my cricket club logo.

We only have one version of a digital copy, which looks like the first picture below, we are looking for it to look more like the 2nd picture which is a close up from a shirt (digital copy is long gone i think.)

So if anyone could help out creating a high quality image, nice and clean (with transparent background (with or without the Congresbury CC bit) I would love you forever.

Colours are Maroon, Black and Gold/dark gold-ish (burnished?).

and for anyone intersted in Latin i think Ferio Tego means I Strike, I Defend, which i thought was pretty apt for a cricket club.

Not from me it don't . You can if you want.

There is no poster filter in use on my saved image either if you are referring to me which I assume you are saying as we are the only ones here.

JSYK It was an advanced sharpen / tonal highlight, then a yellow filter on a transparent background

Thanks for the effort, but i need a clean image as in digital drawing (so you cant see threads and whatnot, just clean lines, low and highlights if necessary. Have some well earned rep :)

Just so it can be used on a website, letterheads, newsletters, promotional material etc. Im trying to raise the clubs profile this year so a lot of things need to be done and this was one of them
