Here's a site that shows all their deals.

I'm pointing you to the Studio range (might be a bit overkill if you're only going to be browsing the web and using a bit of office, but they're good machines).

Studio 15: http://www.dmxdimension.com/dell-uk/studio-15-deals-comparison-coupons/

Pity, there was an excellent deal on a Studio 17 with 2x500GB HDDs if I remember for around £630 the other day.

This one: http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/621908/dell-studio-17-with-i5-430m-4096mb- although it's now £660.

Well, I've just received THIS ONE from Dell.

I ordered it on 26 February (evening) and it arrived today (see this thread).

Been playing on it this morning and it is lovely. It's my first laptop (main computer is a pc) and it's just for the family to use for general surfing, watching dvds, playing cds, etc.

My brother, who is "into computers" recommended it saying it has the newest possible processor in it - the i3, goes up to i5 or i7 I think.
It has integrated camera and microphone. And it looks really sleek.

HTH. Good luck in choosing.

Yup, within budget and would be a solid machine for general stuff and then a bit.

OP should consider it ;) I kinda forget that it's not me buying the lappy :p
