Well the 720 is the same as the 520 except it also has Western Europe maps as well as GB and Ireland, so if you dont travel to the continent (or are planning to in the next year or so), dont bother getting it. If you are planning a trip at some time, buy the 720 becuase any premium you spend on it now will be less than the cost of buying upgrade maps in the future.

The 510 is the older version of the 520, so presonally would avoid (and not many paces have them anymore, its purely older stock they are getting rid of).

Well i am not planning any trips so the 520 would be the option to go with ? Are there any other sat navs that is better ? Around the £300 mark.

Thanks for the info, was wondeing what the difference is between 520 & 720. Have found them on www.ebuyer.com for £159.99 & £179.99 delivered is this one of the best prices for these?

The prices on EBuyer seem to be the best available at the moment, even taking Quidco and discount vouchers into account.

I have a TomTom 720 and can recommend it. I preferred to have the EU maps available, it's cheaper to purchase a 720 with them installed than get a 520 & purchase the maps at a later date.
