My ACER laptop has packed up for the second time in a year. The first time (march 08) I sent it off and they replaced the hard drive. This time it is coming up with the same error - that it is unable to repair set up. When I spoke to ACER they told me to go into the Alt F10 function but this is asking for a password (hint; aussie soap), I have NEVER changed this password from the default which is apparently 000000 so suspect they did this when they changed the hard drive (although they say not).... Seems a bit dodgy to me when they advise me they want £50 to override the password. I have tried all the logical guessing of Neighbours etc but it's getting me nowhere.
