1 x 900g pack beef and pork mince (£3.50)
cheapest weetabix you can find
Two cans smartprice chopped tomatoes

Asda basil

Gently fry the finely chopped onion until soft and translucent. Add two big tsps basil, garlic and two soup spoons of tomato puree. stir up. Add the 2 cans chopped tomatoes. add some salt and pepper. Leave to simmer genty. A

Using your hands, combine the mince with five finely crumbled up weetabix, spices of your choice, then make into about 30 meatballs. brown in batches in a frying pan, then put into your tomato sauce, and simmer gently for about 20 minutes.

This will make enough deeeelicious meatballs and sauce for five dinners. Easy to freeze in washed-out takeaway containers.

Are you going home for Christmas? Don't get loads of stuff that will go off if you're not going to eat it in time.
Also, what about:
Washing powder
kitchen roll
washing up liquid
rice
biscuits

Are you sure they'll deliver to Halls? If you're on campus they may count this is a non residential address and refuse to deliver. Where will you store it all- In your room ? Having been student ( many years ago! ) are you sure none of it will go walking from the shared kitchen!

get some new potatoes, you can just put them in a pan and serve with butter on, asda do lovely smart price pork chops, and fresh sausages for about 50p.
