Hi
As its my first post I'm not sure if im adding this in the correct topic/deal. But was wondering if some body on here would be able to help me.
Ive got an interview for a trainee biomedical science job, im been seraching for this sort of job for years locally and as its quite competitive, I've never been to a stage where Ive been called for an interview. And now that I have got an interview, im quite nervous on what sort of stuff to prepare for.
Anyway I was wondering if there were any biomedical scientists on this website that could help me. I just wanted to know what sort of quetsions they would be asking, or what the format of the interview would be etc.
I have not had much interview prepartion and any help would be grateful.
Thanks

I've no idea about biomedical science but have interviewed for trainee's before. Make sure you research the company it is with thourghly, show lots of entusiasm about the role and where you what you want to get from it ie becoming fully qualified and seeing this as a career you'll stick with. As one of the worst things for companies is to put time and money in training someone for them to go try something else after a year or so.

Good luck

Is it just a standard/traditional interview or are they doing it as an assessment centre? (all day jobbie)

Thanks folks, its just a standard 1 hour interview, I dont no whether I should go and book a visit to do an informal tour around before they interview me, just to show that I'm eager. My mates have said I should do a tour before hand
