Help getting money from CEX

Sent them some games, to the value of £65 - they say they've transferred the money to my bank account but I haven't recieved it.

E-mail support is a joke - they say they've sent it on the 3rd and 'to wait'. Now they are no longer replying

Tried ringing their Leeds store, only number I could find, guy there was a complete waste of time and wouldn't hand out any numbers whatsoever..

What do I do?

Ive never had any problems with cex personally - sold nearly £300 worth now with them online...

Don't have a shower or a wash for a week, then go into a store and ask.

They are more helpful to "similar people".

If you are dealing with CEX central then there isn't much point hassling the stores - they are all franchises.

Moral of the story: don't use CeX (or at least stick to the stores if you must). Gamestation will match their prices so you can always get them to do that and thus avoid dealing with the likes of CeX...

Hope you get your money OP. I know how infuriatingly incompetent their online department is...

I have a similar problem. I'm going to fill out a county court claim form and send it to them before I do actually file it in court and add £200 for my time and expenses. They are a joke, no idea how they are still trading.

They have been fine before - it's just this one time. I've printed a letter, will send it recorded delivery and see what I get. Its only £65 but that's £65 loss for me as a student!

I filed a claim in the small claims court against them for underpaying against a brand new phone I sold them - it's really easy and they paid up without any arguing once they received the court papers - MONEYCLAIMONLINE - best of luck :)
