Hi, my boyfriend wants a FM transmitter for his mini Ipod. The 1st gen ones. We use to have the itrip but have lost it. Was just wondering if anyone knew if ebay item 250269121482 will work with the mini ones. I know the advert says they will but i am unsure whether the minis have that connection on the bottom of them. I cant find his to check. Thanks.

Yep, that will work. It has a 3.5mm input for any mp3 player too, so it's not only for iPods.

I think item 390000105993 is more what you're after? The advantage of an Ipod specific FM transmitter is that it can pick up power from the Ipod where a generic one needs a external source of power, normally batteries or a cigarette lighter. Admittedly I'm not that familiar with the Ipod minis though.

According to the description you select it on the Ipod itself:

[COLOR=#000000]iTrip mini gives you the best possible performance because you can choose any empty station from 87.7 to 107.9. Best of all you choose and change your iTrip mini stations directly from the iPod mini itself.

I'm pretty sure the radio station numbers come up on the actual iPod's screen
