I've replaced two so far and their pretty easy to replace.

This seems a fairly decent guide, http://computershopper.com/howto/200701_replace_your_laptop_screen Or If you google: "How to replace "your laptop model" screen" their might be some guides.

I replaced one on my laptop recently. Took about 15 minutes. You'll need to download the service manual for your laptop from the maker. I bought a secondhand screen from ebay as new they can be very expensive.

I got a Advent laptop given free as it had a broken screen .There is a company on ebay based in Ireland selling screens for under £100 . I ordered one on a thursday at 4-45 and it was delivered next day at 11.Fitted it myself ,removing a few screws and the click fit bezel . Had two small plug wire connections and the screen was held in place by four thin metal guides .Laptop now is as good as new .I've recently read about there being two types of screens .shiny and the cheaper matt finish. Check before you buy . Mine was the shiny type.
