Has anyone got any ideas on how i get lots and lots of blue biro pen from off my suede setee cushions. Long story short i left my 2yr old unattened for a minute and shes drew a picasso on both sides of my £1000 setee cushions!

no you drink it neat, can't see anymore biro then.

Isn't there a vanish stain remover just for biro (usually on clothes tho, but you may have some suede trousers....

All quiet in here now.....his missus must be back.

RIP Tanboy. :-( :p

vanish do a carpet & upholstery squirty gun (may do it in foam too) which i always have at home, it gets pen marks out of carpet (thank god) and i used it to get blackcurrant off a cream chair too. you need the upholstery one though not the clothes version

you need to check the wash instructions on the sofa first though as you may have one which is dry clean only, if so be very careful what you use. If it doesnt state dry clean you may be able to put the covers in the washing machine loaded up with vanish powder.

the beauty of the written word, I picture him sitting on the settee all night without moving whilst covering the cushion, meanwhile missus thinks he's losing the plot.

Hope she isn't one of these that likes to sit up till the early hours else not only will he have to explain the biro but the wet patch as well. :w00t:

i know its milk on clothes but not sure about microfibre - try dabbing it with milk on a cloth and see what happens
#31
Micro fibre is a tactile durable fabric, most stains such as biro, butter, machine oil, can be removed by carefully dabbing with a clean damp cloth. Stubborn stains can be removed using small amounts of soap and water.
#32
you cant use anything like water because it causes water rings
#33
What i posted was from a site that sells microfibre sofas,i know what you mean though,i have a suede sofa and to stop rings being left after using a damp cloth i put kitchen roll over it to absorb some of the water and just rub it.
#34
I can't believe you have that sort of sofa with a child around though,i don't let kids even sit on my sofa, seriously !!

Methylated spirits has worked for me on a leather suite. Not sure about microfibre but it may be worth a try.
