Hi, looking to go to wales last 2 weeks in Aug. Can go from 16/08 and need to be back by 1st Sept. Best prices I could find were 540 for one week w/c 23/08 or 2 weeks for £1115 this was at kiln park a Haven site. Would prefer South to North Wales.
Anyone know any particularly good sites? Any nice cottages with activities fairly nearby for children 10 & 14.
Another option was to do 7 nights w/c 23/08 and 3 nights from 30/08 do you know if Haven offer a discout for booking two holidays .( system will not let you book a straight 10 days for this date).

Many Thanks

The Gower is a beautiful place.

Tenby and surrounding area is also beautiful - Oakwood is nearby , as are some castles, other (smaller than Oakwood) adventure parks/places. The only problem with Tenby is that it's a small town & it fills up with tourists very easily - if you go to Pembrokeshire try somewhere other than Tenby. The area is small enough that you can visit anywhere no matter where you are staying.

Heres a comment I left on another users post, it may help you.

"Wales, definately Wales.

Me and my lady went there last year for our anniversary and stayed in a 5* Hotel B&B for £80 a night (For the room not per person). The hotel only had 3 rooms so everything was personal and had caring little touches added to everything.

We had a fantastic time and from the place we stayed "Betws-y-Coed " there are about 30 different attractions within about 50 minutes drive. For the price you would pay at Centre Parcs you could visit loads of different places.

It was an absolutely beautiful place, hopeing to go back shorlty and check out some more attractions.

At least take a look before you say "No, Its too far" because i promise you wouldn't be disappointed.

If you want to know more about where we stayed PM me and I will send you the name of the Hotel

Cheers"
