Hope someone can help.
A few days ago i tried to clear out my laptop. I got rid of some microsoft things cos it said they had never been used since i bought the laptop about 4 years ago.
I am now trying to open a document and it is saying word does not exist.
My recycle bin had been cleared as well.
Is there anyway of getting word 2003 back without having to pay for it. I have gone onto microsoft and it wants me to do a free trial but this is for the complete office. Is there anyway i can just get an old download of word. I do not have the original discs anymore that came with the computer.
Luckily we have a printed copy of his homework so worse case scenario i will have to retype it all out on my other computer.
Thanks.

Thanks guys i downloaded openoffice.org and then my word document loaded straight onto it. Looks very similar indeed. Let me make a few changes and print no problem. Will keep using it. The laptop is very old now so no intention of buying anything for it. This will do a treat.
Thanks for all your advice.

System restore doesn't bring back deleted files.

Anyway if you don't want to pay buy open office, but I'd get office 2007 from software4students.

Great prices and we are eligible. My son is only 13 so doesnt have ID etc but this site says anyone can get it. Thanks.
