Help Me Compose An Angry Letter To Fifa

Due to the disapointment of some on England not being the hosts of the World Cup in 2018 and partly because I'm bored at work and this I can do in overtime, I will be drafting a letter to Fifa.

I'm following on my traditional letters of complaint to see what responses I can get, prvious examples being a letter to Marmite for false advertising (I neither love it, not hate it... I find it alright.)

Please provide input as to why you thought England should have been hosts, the more outrageous the better, I will post my final letter before sending as I will be using this site as a reference, (HUKD Misc, FIFA Approved)

I used the plural.

Draw a **** on the front of the envelope, I heard on Twitter this is speed mailing to Blatter's home address.

a) Before and now we were arrogant about football "coming home"
b) World Cup here would not "leave a legacy of football" like it would do in Russia/Qatar
c) Fifa Officials are over sensitive and corrupt, things that both NOWT and BBC Panorama highlighted
d) I see this also as similar to Eurovision and us getting nil points, Fifa is VERY political
e) Why can noone see this as a blessing, to save us from months of hell in 8years time in 2018
f) Leave them to their own devices
g) Spain and Holland failed too and they were in the final this year, they invested massively in football schemes, clubs, funding for the last decade, England has not
h) What right do we have to demand Fifa host the World Cup here? Really?

Move on.

England will never win as long as blatter is in charge-he is the most corrupt man in world football.and if England arent prepared to get involved in bribes then they have no chance. The awarding of a world cup to qatar is even more unbelievable than the russian one tbh-money talks-end of.

some very good points-I dont buy the "legacy" thing tho-not with the olympics, not with the world cup-its a lot of hot air.

lol it's funny the sanctimonious, arrogant, bitter, we hate johnny foreigner moaning that the english are now engaging in are exactly the reasons why they will never get a world cup and why 99.9% of the footballing world don't like them.

Yes Legacy this is over dramatised however I don't see the problem of the World Cup going to countries that have never had it.

I don't think it should have to leave a 'legacy'. It should go to the country that was best equipped for a world cup. Which IMO is us or Spain/Portugal.

Australia have shown they can put on a great tournament with the Olympic in 2000.
#15
Wouldn't be bothered if it had been anyone else bar Russian and Qatar just shows that the voting was money driven.

Financially they need it the most too, had Belgium (with Holland) won it, it would of been hilarious though, shame Holland isn't a bigger country really.

You'd have thought one year would be obvious, but both just shows the arrogance of FIFA

Fifa board financially driven that is, the numbers proved Fifa would of made the most money in England, personal financial reward is far more important compared to the actual organisation/company making real money. I do wonder how their system tolerates that kind of self defeating loss.

Yep because the finicial rewards for fifa was what I was on about.

I think they should let the public decide where they want the World Cup hosted, i,e Everyone can vote for a Country apart from their own.

You only needed one bullet point tbh

(1) FIFA are corrupt and the highest payers win the votes.

Presentation, best, standards etc have nothing to do with it and whilst you can hope, it was pretty damned obvious England were going nowhere despite having the most complete package bar none.

We didnt get it because blatter & the rest of them are a bunch of corrupt turds, everyone knows we'd host a good world cup England haters included. No need to guess what nationality you are, calling the English bitter does make me lol.

proves my point really.

incidentally I did say on the other thread that it would've been great for the whole of the uk if england had won it but again your attitude and that of many litlle englanders shows why you'll never get it.

shame as I would've loved to nip down the road and catch at least a group game just to say I've been to a world cup and savour the whole atmosphere.

Will be the closest you would of got to a world cup as a Scotsman.

TBH I think the Australians have got more to complain about than us Brits/English. Qatar is a ridiculous choice.
Before the bidding started etc, it should of been made clear that the tournament was likely to go to a country which has never hosted (which is fair enough).

until the sfa splash some cash on a decent manager your probably right.

can't disagree with the qatar point. 12 years is long way away and a lot can change but to give a world cup to a country were alcohol is forbidden to be drunk in public is just plain nuts for a start.

Could get very interesting if Israel qualify for the 2022 games also. But like you say 12 years is a long time.
