  yeah insurance is extremelly high this year,
  
  thanxs for info denver7 its insurethebox and ikube that do that insurance where you dont drive between 11am and 5am but even with them they are quoting me around 4500pounds, very high insurance prices at moment

  its a 2001 fiat punto 1.9 elx jtd one of the reasons of high premiums is the car which i will be selling in next few weeks but still need maybe a temporary car insurance for about 28 days which is still expensive

  co-op is very cheap.
  
  you can try tesco and at the end of you're online quote right at the bottom you should get an option for a cheaper alternative called tesco value insurance should knock a bit off.

  If u sell the car within 14 days after the insurance is taken out then you won't get charged any cancellation fees. Otherwise u will be paying alot more if cancelled later. Best to look for temporary car insurance from places like the Rac and AA not sure who else does it.

  even if i sell car with buy insurance group 1 or 2 car so premium is low, been looking for temporary car insurance AA and RAC wont insure me for some reason when going through quote

  Try Collingwood - they specialise in short-term policies as well as those for young drivers. If I was at home I'd give you my referee no lol but go direct and they should be able to help you :)

  Not sure if you have tried this but I heard someone talking on radio yesterday and they said they had mega quotes but by adding another named driver (who was over 25 with no accidents) to the policy it bought the price down quite a lot..........got to be worth a try.
