My daughter is having a sleepover birthday party and I want to make her a mix tape (CD) using itunes.

But I am an old fuddy duddy and don't get down to it in the groove with this new fangled musico.

I need some ideas for things they'll love to play too loud for too long.

My daughter is into High School Musical, Abba and XFactor style rubbish so very poppy would be appreciated, about 20-30 should do.

Many thanks, NC

Start off by asking her what the names of the best songs on High School Musical are, her best Abba songs etc.. Leon's 'There can be miracles..' is bound to go down well also...

Bleeding Love - Leona Lewis
Crazy In Love, Irreplaceable - Beyonce
Entire High School Musical 1 and 2 CDs? :p

I have an 8 year ols and she likes anything that's in the charts really, she likes Avril Lavine, Busted, Mcfly, Take That, Girls Aloud, Spice Girls...ect, anything that's pop music and catchy ! Try the Pop Party albums she loves those ! Have fun !!

Grease songs still go down well

Love the idea of introducing them to Grease and the likes, not sure how my Sabbeth stuff will go down though!

Pop Party may be the easy answer, but I think I'll mix in some 70's and 80's stuff too.

Hi= I run a mobile disco/karaoke & do lots of kids partys. I've also got a 9 year old daughter with similar demands!
Here are a few suggestions-
song title first, then artist.

1-Cotton Eye Joe, Rednex
2-Fast food Song, Fast Food Rockers
3-Is this the way to amarillo - Tony christie
4-500 miles by the proclaimers with Andy & Lou
5-Cha Cha Slide - DJ Casper
6-Girlfriend- Avril Lavigne
7-Macarena, Los Del Rios
8-Grace Kelly - Mika- in fact anything by Mika
9-Greased Lightning- from the Grease film,
10-Any Girls Aloud songs
11-Any sugababes songs
12-Any Kylie Minogue
13-Any McFly.

You might be surprised by their tastes- I did a school disco just before xmas & one 9 year old boy asked me for some Jethro Tull & another kid asked me for early Beach Boys!!!

Hope this helps & good luck!!

Colin.
