Help; Need to turn voucher into cash

I have got a Comet gift card worth £180 which I want to turn into cash to spend elsewhere. What do you suggest I do? I don't mind if I can't recuperate the full amount. I.e.I've considered buying an item such as new Xbox and reselling on ebay as new unsused. Please forward any suggestions you may have.

ask customers in comet if they are spending more than 180 quid then ask if they would like your voucher for £170 and give you the cash after the sale has gone through.

£170 is a bit greedy, more like £150 to persuade a complete stranger to breach terms and conditions

Agreed, use a buy it now or best offer for say 170/175, fees to pay though, should get about £150 after fees

Thanks for advice.
I don't fancy asking Comet customers, just sounds too dodgy. Ebay seems like a worthwhile go, but noticed similar vouchers go for around £150, which after fees reduces the cash in hand to lower than I'd prefer.

Can you buy something with them and then re-sell the item for a similar price? (cash on collection)
