Help Needed

I need some help from all you lovely HUKD'ers.
I want to purchase a multimedia player that is simple to use.
I want to plug it into my computer using a usb, move all my video files onto it...roughly 120G.
Then I want to plug it into my TV and be able to watch them!
Does anyone do it?
What machine do you use?
Where can I get one?

Sorry for the abruptness of this request, but it is driving me mad looking through pages and pages of 'google' with no success.
I have seen this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Envizage-500GB-Cyclone-External-Player/dp/B002K9RCY6/ref=pd_cp_ce_3
But the reviews have put me off somewhat!
Thanks for your help!

i'm just in the process of deciding which usb capable dvd player i should buy

i've raked out an old 40gig pocket drive i had and formatted it to fat32, now putting a few flicks on it to act as a little media player plugged through whatever dvd player i plump for

Still sounds complicated to me!
So do I need to buy and external hard drive and a compatible dvd player?

not complicated at all

if you can figure out how to rip or download your movies, then just put them on the drive and select "drive" or whatever on dvd remote, select the movie you want to watch - hey presto!

as for fat32 - most drives nowadays are ntfs and would need to be converted to fat32, there are very easy simple programs online which do it in a flash

you could probably buy something that does everythng but i bet it'd be more expensive
