ok i brought a mobile from E2save and one from onestopphoneshop. i was meant to get a automatic cashback from both for 81 pounds each. after many attemps i got a cheque from the OSPS and not from E2save who have said that they have sent a cheque out and that it had been cashed and if i wanted the cheque chased and it was found to be cashed by myself i would be charged 45 pounds. so i call my bank just to make sure the cheque that i actually did get was from the OSPS they confirmed that it was but the only thing is the cheque number is the number that E2save gave me as their cheque number so yes this cheque has been cashed but it was issued by OSPS. This is what i need help on both parties are saying that the cheque belongs to themselves they will not communicat with each other and i just cant seem to sort it out and am getting very fustrated what should i do cause i have had enough.:x

Have OSPS given you the same cheque number as well?

no they gave me a voucher number but they insist that the cheque belongs to them E2save gave me a cheque number which is the cheque i got but it was made out by OSPS

How strange. If i recall they are linked and it sounds like they've crossed wires somewhere along the line. I'd go ahead with getting them to chase it and if they try and charge you £45 then i would pass the bill on to the other as they would then ulitmately be responsible in the first place.

yes they are linked i said that i would send them a copy of they cheque to both parties but they are not interested. and for the 45 it will be charged to my account and that will be a bother to claim back if i cant claim this. what do you think?

Well if they take the £45 charge straight from your bank then you can then get the bank involved who can take the money back if they agree it was an injust charge. It does sound like it's the e2save cashback issued by the wrong company. Unfortunately OSPS have an appalling reputation for cashback.

i cant believe this . they will charge my mobile account with the money:x

It is good of her but I would be a little warry. Having worked for several phone companies they would have hung me out to dry if I was asking for information on a public forum!

I have offered to have a look into hulyas account to see if there is anything at all I can do to resolve the issue. This would not involve me discussing personal details regarding her account over the forum or by personal message, as yes that would be against data protection.

Thanks everyone i have finally resolved this. the cheque that i got originally was from OSPS so E2save had got there paperwork muddled up.
