Can anyone tell me how to copy a SATA hard drive to an Acer Revo that has an eSATA input? I'm assuming I will need a cable, but not sure which to buy? Thanks. Read More

Its not that simple as you need some way of powering the external drive,The best way if you intend to do this with more than one drive is to use a dock such as ebay item 26072666462
This will give you the speed of Sata but you will still need to buy a ESATA cable.Ether that or buy a cheap usb Caddy and use that but obviously it will be slower, You could also buy a ESATA caddy but you will need to buy either 3.5" or 2.5"

Ebay number didn't show anything? Think I will go down the caddy route. Any idea how much I should be paying? Bearing in mind I just wan't the data from the SATA hard drives then will chuck out.

With regards to power, just pull out a spare supply from the PC.
