Help needed fixing poorly psp memory card reader

So I'm updating mine and my sisters CFW, it was all going ok until I went to take out the memory card of my sis's psp. The 4gb card was a fake and had broken but was still working ok...until now - it was stuck inside the psp or at least partially stuck after the main body of it came out.

So I had to fish out the shards of broken plastic from inside the memory card slot with a small pair of tweezers, I've pressumably damaged the memory card reader and now if I put any card in the memory stick light bleeps slowly - not being read

Can anyone help me fix it? - or know of any information that will help me revive my lil sis's (now)busted psp

Btw the model is the original UK model from 2005

this is the part you will need
all you will need to do is solder it to the board where the old one comes from

Absolutely - I'm not a freeloader lol

How much would you require to do it and send it back?

OK, PM me your address, how would you like payment too? I like using paypal.

I was really gutted cos it's an absolutely mint condish original model which has been well looked after, really cool that you've stepped into help.

I'm an expert at everything but PSPs lol... call me about PS2's, XBOX's (Old ones), erm... PSP CFWing erm thats about it lol.

Hey imortal, I recently ordered a new faceplate (clear) and new analogue stick for my PSP. Are these relitively easy to install? Does the analogue thing need soldering?

Nah it's my lil sis's and it's been with her 3 years - the cost doesn't really concern me MB
