hi bought dstt card from deal extreme loaded it all up using saints thread yet all im getting is two white screens i know there as been lots of threads on this but been through lots, cant see any with my problem and getting worried now that they have sent me a fake can any one point me to where ive gone wrong sorry to be a pain its for my sons ds im feed up with him losing his games so im hoping to put all his games on one card i did it with my daughters but that was rd4 card

dstt drom dx probs fake then, if there is such a thing as non fake - lol Have you had a read through the forum on dx as it can be quite helpful

should be able to sort it out using the fake recovery you will need a working one to re flash the fake one any probs i could do it for just pay for the return postage

Have you got or do you know anyone with another DSTT card you could try your memory card in, I have had over 50 cards delivered and have had a few with the same problem, a couple were returned to Dealextreme for replacement......
One other thing you could try is carefully bend the cart to make sure the metal strips are making contact in the DS slot.

no unfortunatly ive only got the rd4 card

After you run the fake recovery download the latest version of the DSTT firmware from gbatemp, they have a version on there that doesn't include the fake killer code.

You can use the r4 to run the flasher, just swap to the dstt when prompted

when flashed make sure to put on fake safe firmware straight away for testing, don't test with posible bricker firmware.

Just about to say that it doesnt matter what other kart you use as long as it works

sorry im a bit thick how can i do it using my rd card sorry to be pain but trying to prove to oh that im brainy and i can sort it lol

put the fake recovery file onto the micro sd card you use in the r4 put the r4 card back into the ds and run the fake recovery program once it has been run it will tell you to put in the fake dstt card press a button (cant remember which one) if it can,t be recovered it will tell you

Looks like you have a dead card take some photos and contact dealextreme letting them know that t was dead on arrival (it was worth a try)

took photos then got in touch with dealextreme on wed but looking at the dealextreme forum it seems that they dont like getting it touch over defective goods but thank again for your help

thank you for your help and i have done what you suggested i did this on wed but not holding out much hope as it seems dealextreme dont like excepting that there goods are defective but i guess they were cheap to start of with so not much money lost

i have used dx for a long time, i have only ever had two defective items from them. Yes there were a little slow in getting back to me but in the end they replaced the items and paid for the shipping back to them
